3.1. In principle, the use of this website is possible without providing personal data. By visiting
the Basilicom website, your browser automatically transmits some data. This information, also

provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed Basilicom's offer), and

6. APPLICATION PROCESS

If you apply to Basilicom, for example, via email or the contact form, your details will be used
exclusively for processing your application and will not be passed on to third parties. This means that
the processing of your data is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures that occur at your
request. Please note that applications sent by email are transmitted unencrypted; therefore, there is a
risk that unauthorized parties could intercept and use this data.

7.1. Recruitee

For applications, we use the application management system of Recruitee B.V., address: Keizersgracht
313, 1016 EE Amsterdam, Netherlands (hereinafter referred to as "Recruitee"). Our jobs page
integrates a website from Recruitee. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Recruitee.
Recruitee is directly integrated into our website as a web service. The integration of Recruitee is based
on our legitimate interest in optimizing and efficiently managing the entire application process; the
legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. In this context, we process your personal data to facilitate the entire
application process. By visiting the jobs page, Recruitee collects personal information such as: 

• Contact details such as salutation, first name, last name, address, email, phone number
• Photo
• Business networks
• Documents such as cover letter, resume, certificates, qualifications, work samples
• Other information you voluntarily provide
• Correspondence related to the application

In principle, we store your personal data as long as it is necessary for the decision regarding your
application. If no employment relationship is established, we may continue to store data if this is
required to defend against potential legal claims. The deletion information listed below applies to
applications, regardless of how the contact was made. In any case, data will be deleted six months after
the rejection decision is communicated, unless longer storage is required due to (potential) legal

7.2. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google

BE0835.831.380. "Teamleader NV" (the parent company of Teamleader Orbit) is a company

Any information, including personal data, collected by another service listed in this privacy policy may
be sent and stored on Teamleader’s servers when a user performs an action that leads to the

channels, success analysis of marketing campaigns, as well as centralized email marketing and contact
management.

Cookies are used to fulfill the various functions, which are small text files stored locally in the cache of

certain information, such as IP address, location, and time of page visits. Data may also be transferred
to Zoho Corp., USA.

All the above-described processing activities, especially setting cookies to read information on the

personal data will be deleted immediately.

9. DATA MINIMIZATION

The legislator has provided for various retention obligations and periods. Basilicom stores personal data
in accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data minimization only as long as it is necessary
or required by law. If the purpose of the collected information no longer applies or the retention period
ends, Basilicom will block or delete the data.

10. DATA SECURITY

To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure and to ensure the accuracy of data and the legitimate use
of the data, Basilicom employs appropriate technical and organizational measures. The security
measures of Basilicom are continuously improved in line with technological developments. However,

This means that any data and information you voluntarily submit to Basilicom could be intercepted by third parties through unlawful data acquisition. 14. SOCIAL ICONS - SOCIAL PLUGINS WITH SHARIFF SOLUTION

Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") from the social network Facebook, operated by Meta

Presence on Social Media
To best present our company and to communicate with you as a user, customer, or prospect, and to
inform you about our services, we rely on our presence on social networks. The use of social networks
involves data processing outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). In
some countries outside the EU, an equivalent level of data protection as in the EU cannot be ensured.This could lead to risks for you as a user if the transmitted data is processed in so-called third countries

Basilicom operates profiles on these platforms to raise awareness of products and services, interact with
customers, prospects, and other platform users.

The platform operators use certain data they have collected from users of the platform (e.g., whether a
photo on a profile is "liked" or commented on) to create aggregated usage statistics, which are then
made available to the profile operators (so-called "Insights" or "Analytics"). We, as the profile operator,
also receive such usage statistics. The information we receive as profile operators does not allow
conclusions to be drawn about individual users. The profile operator has no access to personal data
processed by the platform operators for generating the usage statistics. Only the respective platform
operator decides which data is processed for these purposes and how. Basilicom, as a profile operator,
cannot influence the processing by the platform operators, either legally or practically.

For processing related to the creation of usage statistics, Basilicom is considered a joint controller with
the respective platform operator within the meaning of Art. 26 GDPR.
Furthermore, data processing by Basilicom as a profile operator occurs only to a very limited extent:

  • Processing of usernames and comments that are deleted due to violations of etiquette. These are retained for any necessary legal disputes within the statute of limitations.
  • Processing of usernames and individual messages when you contact us via messenger services.
  • Processing of usernames and posts in the context of inquiries and, if necessary, obtaining consent for re-posting images.
  • Recruiting potential candidates on career platforms.

For these purposes, we generally process only your name, message content, comment content,
and the publicly provided profile information you have shared.

16. Cookiebot

Basilicom uses the consent management service Cookiebot, provided by Cybot A/S, Havnegade 39,
1058 Copenhagen, Denmark (Cybot). This allows Basilicom to obtain and manage the consent of
website users for data processing. The processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation (Art. 7 (1)
GDPR), which Basilicom is subject to (Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c GDPR). The following data is
processed using cookies:

  • Your IP address (the last three digits are set to '0').
  • Date and time of consent.
  • Browser information.
  • URL from which the consent was sent.
  • An anonymous, random, and encrypted key, your end-user consent status as proof of consent.

The key and consent status are stored for twelve months in the browser using the "CookieConsent"
cookie. This ensures that your cookie preferences remain intact for subsequent page requests. The key
allows the proof and tracking of your consent.

If you activate the "bulk consent" feature to enable consent for multiple websites with a single user
consent, the service additionally stores a separate, random, unique ID with your consent. This key is
